The experience combines high ropes courses and zip lines over around two hours. Adults can take part too. After the course, extend your visit with a drink at the terrace bar or a meal in the barbecue area, booked in advance. If you would like to spend the day at the park, you can arrange the activity and your meal as part of the same outing.
A treetop adventure to share with the children
Move from one platform to another, cross a bridge and find your balance before continuing. Every step of the course offers a small challenge, and the zip-line sections add the excitement of setting off and gliding between the trees. The park’s large zip lines are also included in the experience, although they are separate from the course itself.
If you enjoy doing things together, you can take part and share the course as a family. Those who prefer to stay on the ground can watch the children from designated areas or wait at the terrace bar. Check the individual and family visits and plan your visit.
No previous experience is needed. Before you start, the team explains the activity and prepares the equipment, including your harness and helmet. Park staff provide guidance and supervision during the course. Participants must follow their instructions.
Allow around two hours for the full activity and arrive with enough time to get equipped and hear the initial instructions. If you would like to stay for a meal afterwards, book the barbecue alongside the activity to confirm both times.
Before booking: children’s height and adult supervision
The minimum height for taking part is 1.05 m and the maximum weight is 110 kg. Age alone does not confirm whether a child can complete the course. If your child is young or you are unsure how they will manage the courses, check with the park before completing your booking.
Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity. If no adult can accompany them on the course, ask in advance about the availability of an instructor. This service costs €30 and must be arranged beforehand.

Prices for families and friends
The price for zip lines and courses is €22 per adult and €20 per child. Children staying at the campsite pay €18 for the activity. If an instructor is required and available, please enquire about that service separately.
If several families are coming together, groups of more than 10 people pay €20 per adult and €18 per child. Before booking, check the Castro Park prices and confirm which conditions apply to your group.
Options for accompanying visitors
Accompanying visitors who do not take part in the courses can enter the woodland area to watch the children from below. Suitable footwear is needed for walking over the terrain. They can also wait at the terrace bar or stay in the park’s designated areas.
If a child under 9 needs adult supervision during the activity, this must be arranged for the course at height. Watching from the ground does not replace that supervision.
From zip lines to a family meal
After the courses, you can get together for a meal in the park. If several families are visiting, booking a barbecue lets you organise the activity and meal in one place, without leaving to find somewhere to eat afterwards.
The barbecue area must be booked in advance. Each barbecue costs €10 and requires a minimum of 6 people. You can bring food, but drinks must be bought at the park’s bar: drinks from outside are not allowed.
Barbecue times and sessions vary depending on the time of year. Confirm your session when booking, especially if you would like to use it after the courses. The terrace bar is another option for a drink or snack during your visit.
What to bring and check before setting off
- Comfortable clothes and closed sports shoes for moving around the courses and the park’s terrain.
- Tie back long hair and keep pockets free of loose objects during the activity.
- Confirm the booking and supervision arrangements, especially for children under 9 or if you need an instructor.
- Allow enough time to get ready and hear the initial instructions.
The park has toilets and car parking. There are no lockers, so avoid bringing items you will not need during your visit.
The activity is suspended during thunderstorms. In summer, it may also be paused or cancelled if the temperature exceeds 30°C.
